1. Open any graphic you want to make into a seamless background. Make a copy of it and close original.
Resize it to be no greater than 300 pixels and if resized, go effects, sharpen, sharpen.
2. Take your selection tool, set to rectangle, feather 0 and antialias checked, make a rectangle capturing your
image but make sure you have ants moved in from border. (Ants dont show up so here is example where ants would go)
3. Go to selections, convert to seamless pattern, if you have ants too close to border you will get message that
selection is too close to image's edge and to move your selection in more.
If you do just go edit undo..and select part of your image again. When you have ants in far enough now you will
get this.

4. Now go layers, merge flatten and you are done. Here is my completed background now.

5. You can use this method many different ways. You can open a new tranparent image,
300 by 300, floodfill with white, and apply bladepro to get a glitter pattern, and then
follow rest of steps 2 to 4 to get a tiled background such as this...
Have fun and enjoy making backgrounds.
