Required for this tutorial:

Paint Shop Pro Download trial version of Jasc's PSP 7

Any font you like

The bunnies playing tube:Click here to download

Lets get started :-)

1.  Open the bunny tube and copy it (shift D) then close original.

2.  Select your freehand tool, set to selection type=point to point, feather=0, antialias checked.

3.  Starting at left egg, encircle your egg so ants loosely around egg but tight up where egg and ear meet.

4.  Then click inside selection and it will bring the "ants" right up against egg. Then go edit copy, edit cut, then edit, paste as new layer. So now egg will be on its own layer though not in same spot where egg started from.

5.  Make layer 1 active which is the layer with bunnies and egges then repeat steps 3 and 4 for each egg so you will end up with a bunny layer only, and 4 layers of eggs, Thus 5 layers in total on layer palette. Arrange layer palette so layers are in order.

6.  Move any eggs that are covering bunnies so out of the way on image and make layer 1 active. We may need to tidy up bunny ears and foot. So with right bunny foot, first select your clone brush tool set to:

7.  Right click on bunnies foot then left click to clone on some extra foot. Use your freehand tool to shape the foot so is round at end if needed.

8.  With the left bunny ear, just use dropper to select ear outline colour and with paintbrush set as following draw a line where ear missing outline.

9.  Add a new layer, send to the bottom and floodfill layer with a background, such as a solid colour or a gradient or a pattern or whatever you want to use as a background

10.  Then go image, resize and resize all layers, pixel size 200 by 223. Then go effects, sharpen, sharpen and do this sharpening for every layer.

11.  Arrange your eggs so they are in a juggling place. I am going to have the right bunny kick up the one egg and the other bunny will juggle 3 eggs. So this how it looks now.

12.  Now go to layer palette and right click on any layer and go merge visable, then edit copy, then edit paste as new image, so you will have a new image open with the merged layer. Rename this image, merged. Made the first image active and click on the undo icon on toolbar (or edit undo) so this image is back with 6 layers.

13.  Move all your juggling eggs in a clockwise cirlce and the one egg upwards that is being kicked by bunny.

14.  Repeat step 12 except this time paste copy as new layer on the merged image you made.

15.  Repeat step 13.

16.  Repeat step 12 adding layer to merged image you made. Continue moving eggs until you have the first egg one spot from being back to starting point and the kicking egg has gone up..then downwards back to foot. When finished you will have the first image with all the 6 layers and the second image called merged with all the layers that have been merged and pasted to it.

17.  This is optional, make one layer with all eggs up at top of image so you can add a font to it. Merge layers visable and edit copy, edit paste as new layer on the merged layers image. and say "happy easter" or your name.

18.  Save the merged image, this is the one we will animate. So launch animation shop.

19.  In animation shop go FILE OPEN and open your merged image.

20.  Click on your frame one and hold shift key down and click on your second to last frame, so all the frames with eggs highlighted except for the one that has your font on it.

21.  Go edit copy, then go to your second to last frame, hightlight it only and back up to EDIT then PASTE, PASTE AFTER SELECTED FRAME.

22.  Now highlight frame one and hold shift key down, hightlight second to last frame you now have on your frame image. Then go ANIMATION, FRAME PROPERTIES and set speed to 20.

23.  Finally select your last frame only that has your font on it and go to ANIMATION, FRAME PROPERTIES and set speed to 200.

24.  Check to see how this looks now..go VIEW ANIMATION.

25.  If happy with it go FILE, SAVE, name your animation, save it in folder you keep your animations in, and keep it in gif format. You're done.

I hope you enjoyed and and fun making this juggling bunny animation.
