Lets get started :-)

1. Open a new image, 400 by 400, transparent.

2. Set your colour palette to red Html#800000

3. Select your preset shapes and on toggle box, select heart2,antialias checked, line width=1, line style=solid line.

4. Hold down your shift key as you left click and hold mouse key down and drag out heart shape. Do not let heart touch the edges of your image.

5. Use your mover tool to center your heart on your image..then select your crop tool to crop excess transparent background away from your heart.

6. Do this by drawing out the crop icon outside of your heart then double click inside the crop box and it will crop away your excess background

7. Add a new raster layer. Go to effects..3D effects, Inner bevel and apply your preset round and change smoothness to 100, rest of the settings stay the same, and okay.

8. Add a new raster layer and on this layer add anything that stays on the heart such as a font or tubes that decorate heart..don't decorate transparent areas. Add new layers each time you add to your heart until you get it how you want it to look. Once heart is decorated how you like it..go layers, merge, merge visable.

9. Now go to your layer palette and duplicate this heart (right click and select duplicate when toggle window opens.)

10. Now go to image...resize and resize this duplicated layer by 95%, then go effects, sharpen..sharpen.

11. Save in PSP format, we are ready to animate.

Launch animation shop

12. Go to file..open and open your heart image.

13. Go to edit, select all, to select all your frames

14. Go to animation..resize and resize so is no bigger than 200 pixels.

15. Go to effects, select all then go to File, export frames to PSP

16. it will open on PSP as an image with two frames..go to layer palette and hightlight frame 1 and go effects, sharpen sharpen, then go to frame 2 and then to effects, sharpen..sharpen.

17. IN Psp go edit, update back to Animation Shop then close the image on PSP and go back to your AS.

18. In AS, go edit select all, then go animation, frame properties and set display time to 20 and okay.

19. Check how it looks now, go view, animation.

20. If happy with it, close the view animation window, and go File, Save, name your animation, keep it in gif format, put it into folder you keep your animations in, and default through rest of the file save boxes and you are done!
