5.  Duplicate your firecracker layer 5 times so you have a total of 6 firecracker layers. Rename all the firecracker layers in order from bottom up to be R1 to R6. Save.

6.  Move R1 to be at bottom center of the image, with the black motion trails not visable.

Make layer 2 now your active layer and go edit copy, edit paste as new image, and minimize this image. Finally, make layer 3 active and go edit copy, edit paste as new image, and minimize this image. Close your fireworks sparkle.

13.  Set your foreground style box to pattern, and browse in preview patterns and select the first of the three patterns showing there.

14.  Floodfill your text with this pattern and keep ants marching.

15.  Go to Effects, 3D effects, drop shadow and apply dropshadow with these settings: v & h=1, opacity=100, blur=0. Repeat drop shadow, only change V&H to minus 1. Deselect ants. (selections..select none).

16.  Add new layer, go to selections...load from alpha channel your name selection.

17.  Click on your pattern to open toggle box and browse in preview patterns and select the second of the three patterns showing there.

18.  Floodfill your text with this pattern and keep ants marching.

TIME TO ANIMATE

25.  Open Animation Shop.

26.  In AS, go File, open, and browse to where you have saved your image. Select your image and open. Now you should see it appear on your AS workspace. Left click and hold on the right side of your frame image so you see double arrow, then drag to the right so you pull the frames out somewhat so you can see a couple of frames.

27.  Use the slider below the frames to view frames until you get to the frame that has your fireworks image showing. (there should be a total of 11 frames.

28.  Left click on that frame only and you will see the frame get selected. It will be in highlighted in a blue/red border.

29.  Go to Animation, frame properties, toggle window will open and set speed to 30.

30.  With this frame still selected, go to Effects, insert image effect and settings are: start with animation frame=checked direction run in reverse=unchecked effect length=0.8 secs frames per second=6 fps effect=explode show preview=checked at the bottom you should see a sentence saying "effect contains a total of 4 frames" then click okay. You now have 15 frames in total.

31.  Now move your slider so you see F13 (your first name frame), left click it to select it hold down your shift key and move slider until you see your last frame name, F15 and then left click on that frame. This will select the three frames F13 to F15.

32.  Go to Animation, frame properties and set speed to 25.

33.  Let's check now and see if we are happy with our results. Go View, view animation.

34.  Close view animation and go File, Save. Name it and keep it in gif format and save to where you keep your animations then click okay. It will automatically optimize for you.
